First Awakening
A practical route for your first session: survive, understand posture, spend stats wisely, and avoid wasting resources.
Monk and Paladin are forgiving for learning melee. Mage teaches spacing early.
Every attack, dodge, and sprint decision matters more when your stamina is low.
Daily and weekly quests give clear targets for souls, bosses, play time, and rewards.
Guide
Short, practical explanations written for players who want to understand the system before they commit a build.
Learn movement before damage. Walk toward enemies, bait a swing, block once, dodge once, and then punish with a short light chain. Do not spam the whole combo until you understand the enemy's recovery.
Vitality gives health, Endurance gives stamina, and Fortitude gives armor rating. If you die too quickly, invest in survival before damage. If you run out of stamina mid-combo, Endurance is the fix.
Mollin is the main currency. Potions can boost XP, Mollin, or luck for limited durations. Reset Keys refund spent stat points, so save them for meaningful build changes.
Race is the first build-adjacent choice. Human earns extra XP, Alv is fast and magic-focused but fragile, Dwarf is slow and extremely strong, Demon has lifesteal, and Beastkin is strong across health, speed, and strength. Pick the fantasy you want, then spend stats around it.
New players usually overextend after a parry, roll when they could block, or spend every point on damage. Balanced early stats make the learning curve smoother.
Customization
Character creation is both visual and mechanical: appearance choices define the look, while race perks can change how a build plays.
7 race choices are available: Human, Dryad, Orc, Alv, Demon, Dwarf, Beastkin. Race has gameplay perks, not just appearance.
The current character creator starts with 1 body preset. The active default is Male.
The character creator supports numbered choices: 25 hair slots, 40 face slots, 40 shirt slots, and 40 pants slots.
Skin tone is player-selectable. Background creation currently has 80 name options and 5 story backgrounds with starting stat bonuses.
Armor
Armor is an equipment layer with Head, Chest, and Legs slots. It can affect defense and, when item data provides it, extra movement or strength.
Armor equips into Head, Chest, and Legs. Current armor entries include Head: Samurai Helmet, Knight Helmet, Dark Souls Helmet | Chest: Samurai Chestpiece, Knight Chestpiece, Dark Souls Chestpiece | Legs: Samurai Legs, Knight Legs, Dark Souls Legs.
+0.5 armor rating per Fortitude point after base. Rating caps at 100; each rating point reduces HP damage by 1%.
Armor item data can add ArmorRating, WalkSpeed, and Strength. Dynamic armor can also provide shirt, pants, and face templates.
Armor is equipment. Punch FX, parry FX, and dash trails are cosmetic rewards handled by the cosmetic and spin systems.
