Posture, Timing, Punish
Combat is built around readable pressure: light attacks, heavy attacks, parry, block, dodge, sprint, posture breaks, and finishers.
Parry is precise: the configured window is 0.25 seconds.
Dash grants 0.25 seconds of i-frames, costs stamina, and has a cooldown.
Normal attacks use sound cues, heavy attacks use yellow indicators, and unblockables use red indicators.
Guide
Short, practical explanations written for players who want to understand the system before they commit a build.
Light attacks are your pressure tool. The default hand-to-hand combo has five hits, with the final hit carrying the strongest damage multiplier. Stop early when an enemy can retaliate.
Heavy attacks cost more stamina and have a cooldown, but they are better for punishing whiffs and damaging posture. Use heavy attacks after a blocked string, a missed boss swing, or a teammate's setup.
Blocking reduces incoming HP damage, while parrying rewards tight timing with extra posture pressure. If you are learning a boss, block first to study rhythm, then start converting known hits into parries.
Dodge is not a panic button. Its short i-frame window is strongest when you already know the impact timing. Sprint is for spacing, repositioning, and reaching safe angles before the next attack begins.
When posture breaks, the target is stunned and vulnerable. Finishers have their own protection window, so commit when you are in range and the arena is safe enough to execute.
Combat styles change pacing and damage numbers. Amateur Muay Thai is the baseline five-hit style, Wing Chun is a seven-hit style with 1.5x damage, and Kung Fu is a four-hit style with 2x damage. All three currently keep posture multiplier at 1.0.
